Jason deCaires Taylor (English-Guyanese, b. 1974, Dover, England) - Ocean Atlas, 2014 is more than 4.8 meters high, weighs over 60 tons and acts as a roof and shelter for marine animals. Located near Nassau, Bahamas it is forged from sustainable, pH-neutral materials designed to kick-start local coral growth. A young Bahamian schoolgirl called Camilla was the model for Ocean Atlas.
