Tired of Being Tired

Ari Gabel is a photographer from Ohio whose main concentration deals with the documentation of the vanishing faces and stories held within countless individuals across the American landscape. His project “Tired of Being Tired” is the product of two intentions: a love for Mississippi Delta Blues and a yearning to understand the culture that made it. Ari Gabel set forth in search for those whose hands were still shaking from carrying a torch: men and women, singers and songwriters, and the land that could, just maybe, still cultivate the music that changed so many people’s lives.
