Marcel-Louis Baugniet - The fall of time (1923)
Originally studying under Jean Delville, upon graduation Baugniet quickly abandoned the symbolist style of his teacher in favour of the new non-figuration. A fluent speaker of Russian, he was also able to translate and introduce many of Malevich’s theoretical texts into Belgium.
