“Galdrakver,” a seventeenth-century Icelandic manuscript, written on animal skin and containing magical staves, sigils, prayers & charms. My favorite was this page adorned in sigil-like branches that was used for spells of protection and keeping evil spirits out. I am enthralled by the history and folklore of this island. (Instagram)
