digital printsObserving the marks of elastic waistbands and bra straps on his girlfriend’s skin, Hu Weiyi found that they took about 14 minutes to disappear. For the artist, these constitute a transient text that can reveal much about a person’s gender, taste, habits and status; that this text is so easily reprinted makes the body seem poignantly vulnerable.
